Can anyone provide some more insight or pictures for attaching an arcteryx/hiking bag hip belt? I get the bolting the back part, just curious about methods for zip ties for the fronts.
Any advice much appreciated!

Re: Planting in Golden / Parson B.C Area
Thanks for the informative reply Jdtesluk,
That paints a pretty good picture in my head. I'll be working with Zanzibar, given their experience in the area, I think i'll be in very capable hands.
Thanks again!

Planting in Golden / Parson B.C Area
Hey board,
I'm looking for some info from planters who have planted in the area around Parson B.C. Curious what to expect. I'm assuming alot of steep terrain, but other then that I don't really know. I know contracts vary, just want a little bit of an idea of what a planter might expect in the area.

Physiotherapists in Vancouver
Hello all, I'm about to enter my 11th season of planting and I've been having some issues with my lower back for many of the latter seasons, I'd like to go see a good physio in the Vancouver area and get an idea of exactly what's going on and hopefully some pointers for how to help or fix it, other ...

Ive been rocking the Ecobox for the last 3 seasons, i find it has the best sound quality/frequency range I've seen for what it is (especially if you listen to electronic music or music with decent bass) it's loud, waterproof and keeps your ipod safe and dry. On the coast on the super rainy days i ju...

TIps for Spring Coast
Hey,
Gearing up to do my first spring coastal season. I've planted the coast a couple times before but only in the fall, can anyone give me some tips on essential gear to bring, clothing items etc, that will help a guy try and stay warm and as dry as possible in the wet rainy/snowy weather?

Re: Best Coastal Rain Jackets/ Used bags in Vancouver?
Try to find a bright orange one instead of yellow. If you can, they might count that as being acceptable as high vis gear. Sometimes, you aren't allowed to have bright yellow as high-vis, so you need to wear a hi-vis vest over top. Which is moderately ridiculous in my opinion, but whatever. Most of...

Best Coastal Rain Jackets/ Used bags in Vancouver?
Hey all, Just gearing up to start on the coast, I'm in need of a new rain jacket. I've planted the coast a couple times in the fall but this is my first spring coastal season and I'd like to get a good rain jacket for this time of year. I'm curious what some of your opinions on the best rain jackets...

Hey, Just wondering if anyone out there has experience with Hoffman Caulks, anyone have experience using these in the interior? Re: evolution of mosquitos?
I've been in Asia for the last couple months and I would say the Mosquitos are exactly as you're describing them. I find in BC when they first hatch in spring they tend to be big and slow, easy to kill. As the spring turns to summer they get smaller, stealthier, and quicker. But I have to say the on...

Re: MEC is taking the Mark's side
I agree with Jules, although it would be nice to take your tent with busted zippers after two years and get a new one for nothing. I have had my MEC tarn 3 for 6 seasons, and have replaced the fly twice, and two of the poles before. This year I went in last week and tried to purchase a new body as m...

Hey all, Just wondering if anyone out there has tips for tuning up old boots that have been sitting all winter. Hey, I've been looking to get some new boots this season and came across the asolo power matic 500's while going in to try on the 200's of the same model, both look like excellent boots with the 500's built like tanks and the 200's being a bit more lightweight and being more comfortable right out of...

If you're worried about the toe, you can take them to a cobbler and get the toe capped for fairly cheap. That's what i planned on doing with mine.
