4 baggers and a shovel, nothing to specialty. Though the entire crew switched to full rubber pretty fast in the weather; rubber boots, rubber pants, rubber rain jacket. The endless 1 degree rain in fall scotland was remarkable.

in the bigger picture it's unfortunate to see Leader entering the Vancouver Island market... From one of the earlier posts in this thread. Sitka gave a coastal job to Leader in 2015; I worked it; it did not go great. At the time people were talking about a Leader coastal job from a few years earlie...

Third party travel insurance is cheap (~$1-$2/day) depending on what plan you get, so there is kinda no reason for your employee not to get it and save himself some trouble down the line.

Foresters occasionally try to tell people to only unwrap a certain number (1, 2, 4, one of each species), which everyone pretends to do for a while. For the most part, everyone unwraps all of one side of a bag.

Increase prices, strictly limit hours. If you can all make your $300-$500 by pounding for 7 hours, +0.5-2hours drive on either side, you're a shorter, less energy intense day. Use log and insurable hours to enforce.

I was shopping at Black Creek/Oyster River grocer, plus Courtenay and Campbell River on the day off. I think the only time I had pasta, I added prawns, sausage, and bacon, plus made my own sauce with a bunch of veggies.

How long was it running without inspection, and who's job was it to get it inspected?The board said its investigation determined there was a lack of safety oversight. It said the vessel did not hold the required Transport Canada inspection certificate and had not been inspected.

I watched it. They're a little unnecessarily dickish to Ed on camera (worst rookie ever/shittiest planter ever...what do you really expect), but all in all, it was pretty good. Decently done/solid humour/etc.
