hi my name is Jordan, I planted for dorsey my first year, Great company, then moved west with folklore. I like to plant trees when I can, it gives me the excuse to through away paper products casually.

I worked for dorsey my first year planting, the foreman were day rated. It was good for the fact that they don't lose money when someone quits, they make a wage on each day off. Ya this just seems like another way to get your name out there, anything that will help make you feel better even if it does not produce results. I have talked to a lot of companies in the past couple of weeks and it looks like there is not much out there, a number of companies don't even have coast...

Ya thanks for the reply. That is what I have been seeing in all the discussions. I know a couple of friends who have done coastal in the past who may know someone. Other then that I will just send out applications and hope for the best. I really want to coastal plant.

Finding Coastal work?

With the coming decline in seedlings to be planted in 2009. Is it going to be difficult for an expierenced planter to find work on the coast who has no coastal experience?
