Re: Burning!
I have always used tiger torches with propane. Hard to light piles are dealt with presto-logs. The results are not dramatic but effective

Re: 2015 Public Bid Results
That contract is based out of Port Alberni. And Evergreen officially accepted the BCTS CR job and all that money left on the table.

Re: 2015 Public Bid Results
What about the Timberline and Evergreen bids ? 62K left on the table to the next highest bidders...15% if you're keeping track. They must have seen something that the other bidders did not. Wow!!

Re: Tree Planter Union?

Re: Rookie success rate?
I would not take that BBC program as doctrine. Brinkman is certainly NOT the reality of the industry. There name has cache in certain circles but by no means in anything else than Dirk,s political connections. For the most part another rookie mill. Just my opinion.

Re: Why Aren't Stashers Being Dealt With?
I happen to agree with China albeit recently. I was approached by a "retired" planter doing something far removed from planting. He confessed to me that during his planting career he stached trees on a regular basis during his 15 year planting career, he was a "highballer". The c...

Re: Seneca
If the spring contract is Clearwater be prepared for 30cm screefs. Make sure that the price per tree pays accordingly.

Re: Hi Baller Syndrome!!
This might be off topic, but in my experience you can usually tell a low bidding, heavy rookie company by this:
Percentage foreman and
Planters doing the coolio..i.e planting with no shirt on
I always thought it funny.

Re: Locked Out? Batlang Bombs
Screefhead..I could not agree more. Big Country is all about self servance..as of mid April she was literally begging Brian for a job..shame on you big sis..lol. And Scooter..the prices based on the bid were very sustainable..you know this from your own bid results over the years. The only tragedy g...
