I have a question for any past or present Brinkman planters from Ontario:
Did anyone plant the Hornepayne/White River contracts? I hear they range from "average" to rock cap shit show. Just wondering if the assessor's interpretation was fair.

Sustainability in camps?
Is this something companies, supervisors, or planters even consider? Or is it too absurd because of the remoteness of camp locations.. I'm thinkin simple things like recycling in camp, or the use of organic foods in camp. What (if anything) does your camp do to offset an ecological footprint?

6 and 1 at A&M Reforestation in Ontario. As steel8909 pointed out, the 6th day was usually a half day.

As a student, I still check off the box that allows me to get taxed. I enjoy receiving a phat cheque in April (just as school finishes and right before a new planting season begins)

Last season was my first one as a crew boss, and I seriously underestimated the cardio portion of the job. Walking/running the block several times over in a day + humping trees in land was brutal. Definately amping up the cardio in preparation for this upcoming season, and I will continue to practic...
