Re: Cyber Forest
I've worked every contract for Cyber Forest. It's a top notch, professional company, vet's only, the average planter has 10 years experience, with a couple fellows with 30+ years. Great Prices 17-35 cents. Every type of ground you can imagine, tough coastal type stuff, up Kinbasket Lake, too very fa...

Re: Hi, my name is ...
My name is Tom, my friends call me Big TC. Starting Feb., it will be my 10th season planting. I've planted just shy of 2 million trees. I plant mostly for Cyber Forest, Bivouac, Sitka, Zanzibar, Brian Adams and Little Trees. I did 5 years planting in ON., working for a great little company GCF befor...

Re: Gloves- new guide for use- your input is valuable
I do a lot of fertilizing every season, 100+ days of it. And the best glove combo for this is, a pair of viking nitridex gloves, with a tight latex, surgical glove underneath on the planting hand. and for straight planting, I use just the nitridex gloves alone. Typically I get 2-7 planting days out ...

Re: Zanzibar's Merritt show - seeking feedback
Zanzibar's an amazing company, I've worked for them a few times, on Tony's side, never in Merrit. But they are top notch in every aspect of planting, great people, high prices, amazing foremen, 3-1's, good times all around. Where else do you hear of planters having $1200 days? Definitely one of the ...

Re: what happened to brian adam's contracting?
You don't know why? but they're a solid company. 18 out of 20 [planters this fall in Alberni, are returning from the spring, Sounds good too me, that's like 95% returning planters, Peace

Re: what happened to brian adam's contracting?
I don't know what you read on this post but one guy said a few bad things and you've jumped to the conclusion they shouldn't exist. I talked with Brian yesterday, they are now known as Brian Lang, and why would people want to work for them? , they're a damn good company, with probably the strongest ...

Re: Fall Contracts
Little Trees does the majority of the planting around Terrace/ Mez. They have a really lucrative fall plant starting in a week or so.
and Cyber-Forest has a small fall plant in Oct., until the snow flies

Re: what happened to brian adam's contracting?
It's still running, but it's no longer Brian Adams. Adams not involved with it anymore, it's just Brian running the show. I worked for them last fall and it was really good, good crew bosses, organization, and great money. I've heard there were a few problems this spring, but by the sounds of it, th...

Re: Cyber Forest
Possibly the best contract in BC. The runs are steep and deep, with gorgeous views of glaciers and some of the highest peaks in BC. The ground various from easy pine flats- tough coastal type ground, planting 5 species, and ferting. Great crew, amazing crewbosses, I've had no downtime in 3 years, ev...

Re: 6 Billionth Tree- Need names of places to celebrate!
I'll be working in Golden June 5th. I think a great place to celebrate this event would be at "The Golden Taps". The Taps has always been one of my favourite spots in BC to enjoy a pint after work, and they treat planters great.

Ipod's on the block
Brining my Ipod planting was great. Be able to make custom playlists everyday is great and you don't have to worry about damaging c.d's. I used mine for about 100 days of planting last season, and it still working fine, just keep it dry. it can be a pain in the ass to charge if your camp doesn't hav...
