i agree about that. life time warranty only warrants material and intended purpose. everything at one point has an expiration date. life time sentence even ends at one point (isn't it like 25 years?) 1st .. dont tell MEC ur life story second, don't tell any 'life warranty' company your life story in...

another for the MEC http://www.replant.ca/board/viewtopic.php?t=44281 Wool is definitely the way to go. It's warm when wet and doesn't get stinky like polypro or soggy like fleece. Cotton takes forever to dry, and doesn't insulate well, so it's pretty useless in the rain. My combo on cold rainy days...

how do you quench your thirst?
Lemons: I liked to put lemon pieces in my water bottle- they give a fresh flavour and help cut the thirst feelings. bite into a lemon before each bag up and try to bag out before the flavour does. good source of vitamin C. Drink as much water as you can after work and before going to bed; drink when...

The bottle of wine analogy is a bad one. just for the sake of replying, the bottle of wine 'analogy' is suppose to be a metaphor. it's not a matter of comparing 10$ to 1000$- it was a matter of quality. not offending anything but your taste buds? That is the whole point of wine! If we compare accor...

what i find interesting is the big difference between the oil and forestry industry camps, between rigger and treeplanter. i don't know enough to actually make a point to complain we should get what riggers get, but it would definitely be something to look into. it kind of leads me to think treeplan...
