Re: Dakota Boots
I almost don't think it matters what kind of stuff you buy, it all ends up being nothing more than fire fodder by the end of the season. This is untrue. There have been productive discussions in these forums about keeping boots viable across multiple seasons. The tl;dr is buy good boots, clean them...

Ugly? Not in fashonable? What are you talking about? Crampon compatible green leather boots with big heels are all the rage on the Paris catwalks this season. Its true, those boots are fine . Re: New Padded Gloves
Not to be a downer, but these look like a gross waste of time and money. simple nitrrile gloves that fit TIGHT work best so you can feel the tree, such as the Atlas ones, or Watson Black Hawks. They still however break relatively quickly, but they work better than anything else i've used or seen. T...

Agreed. No yelling... unless they make a mess on the carpet.. err block, and then you take a rolled up newspaper and hit them on the nose with it. While I have no doubt your spiffy 'interval training' may in fact aid in your conditioning for the upcoming season, I prefer my own tried and tested workout, and the best part is you can do it from home. Your missing the point. The point isn't whether its right or not, the point is to maximize your production so you can pay for school, go travel, be a ski bum or whatever. Sure an experienced checker could check the treeline for density, if he's a real stickler, but chances are they're not, and eithe...

'TheDain' is right, Big Sky is a pretty chill as far as planting gigs go. Re: Spacing/Density/Efficiency
Completely agree with Slash Monkey, always push the minimums in order to limit the amount of steps between each tree, this will help in maximizing your production. Also too, do not line plant ('straight plant') unless your doing trenches or something similiar, always 'area' plant if you can master t...
