They also work out of the Kootenay Lake area running local crews doing a spectrum of silviculture work. They're in tight with smaller mills in that area. If you don't live in the Boundary or West Kootenay area chances are they wouldn't need to hire you. Good solid outfit with lots of experience.

4-baggers are used by some planters who do multiple species planting, especially on the coast and in the West Kootenays. They really help when you're mixing three species and up. That fourth bag also comes in handy for carrying raingear and on the coast the hard hat you really ought to be wearing......

Any company that hopes to pay every two weeks has to carry a fairly substantial line of credit. Even the ones who are solid and well capitalized need some credit to deal with the peak season which does generate large payrolls before their clients pay.
