saw a dj silviculture truck driving around prince rupert. anybody know anything about these guys?

Yah I'm working for them now. They don't do any planting just various types of weed control. They are based in Peachland and they do some forestry herbicide application for Weyerhauser in the Okanagan area which is paid on a day rate basis and works out pretty well. Their main work is industrial vegetation- they have BC Wide contracts for weed control on all Hydro, BCTC, Spectra and Teresan facilities in the province. The hourly wage is around 13.50 to 17 depending on tickets and experience but it pays some overtime, hotels are paid for, 35 dollar a day living allowance for out of town work and you obviously get paid for the mad amount of driving/ sitting in a truck which is required. So you wont make huge money but you see alot of BC and its super easy.
