Nature's Treasures Silviculture

Post by Extreme Planter » Tue Mar 27, 2012 5:24 pm

Looking at doing some work with them this summer. Brian sounds pretty honest, anybody else going to be doing work with them? Thanks!

They pay on time there prices are good, well organized. There camps and trucks are below average.

I jumped in with them part way through my second season of planting. Down to earth people, food was good, the vehicles were run down and the prices seemed fair.

I didn't finish the season with them however because I soon realized that they favoured their highballers. Being my second year and on a new type of ground I struggled to find a good flow. As such, I was always put on the clean up crew. I would be given pieces that vets had started and were pulled off when their was less than a full days planting remaining. The result as that vets would cream out the good stuff and leave lines leading straight the slash. It was demeaning and unfair.

But if you're a good planter, I'm sure your experience would be different.
