Delayed start dates

Post by Seabass »

It's looking like another season of delayed starts in the interior.

Blue Collar was to start up on April 20 in Williams Lake, now we're looking at May 1.

Anyone else have news of delayed contracts in the interior?

Ment to start up the 1st out of Kamloops, looking at the 7th now. It has happened this way each year except my rookie year, no matter what company or where about we're working out of.

Yeah, we're in Kamloops too and we just found out this afternoon that we're going to have to start on the 5th instead of the 29th. This is only the second year out of twenty that we've had a snow delay, but it's kind of annoying that it's two years in a row, in the same place. Especially after everyone was cooking and getting sunburns the previous years that we worked there in late April.

We've been pushed back again, this time to the 5th in Williams Lake and Quesnel.
