What happened to Workwizer ?

Post by newb »

All of the shovels are Sold Out, and he is not returning his emails... The previous retailers have not received any stock.

Is Bushpro the only other option ? Do people actually plant with that paddle looking thing (Hiballer Stainless Steel) ?

Limited to the speed spade

From their website:
WORKWIZER
2014 product will be delayed until mid-to-late March...

We found a new factory that produces much better quality than previous.

The past couple of years we have been in search of a new factory. We had been with the same one for 10 years, and instead of the quality getting better each year, it was declining. This was unacceptable to me and to the planters that use my product; so, we were looking to improve.

In late November, after a long haul, and after nearly pulling the plug on WORKWIZER, I finally found what I was looking for.

The new factory not only produces better quality, we are also going to be launching a NEW REVOLUTIONARY design that simplifies things a little bit more...

That said, production has been slowed by due diligence, to ensure the top quality.

We plan to have some product available in mid-to-late March. Visit our facebook page or our website for up-to-date info.

That was two weeks ago. Things may have changed since but it seems to indicate that they are still producing. Apparently they've switch from a BC factory to producing in India??? Not sure.

Thanks for the info. That message does not appear on their website when running Ghostery and ABP.

I found on alibaba where you could buy what seemed to be exactly the same as workwizer blades for $1.

That's $1... though you need to buy minimum 100-1000 (depending which factory)

Considering Mr. Workwizer is merely importing shovels from China... we really ought do the same and give him some competition... with respect to dealing with the question of why am I paying $32 for a $1 blade...

(Edit: $39...)
