Fir beetle work

I hear a lot about how the MPB work isn't what it used to be, but it seems that there is some money being spent on fir and spruce beetle control from about Mackenzie down to Williams lake or so. Does anyone on here know more about this? Which companies are doing it? Is it purely a government project, or are the licensees getting into it as well? Is it something that is expected to ramp up in the next few years?
