Veteran looking for fly-in/isolation camp opportunity

Post by NomadPAtch »

Hi. I have a few years of experience doing central BC and AB. I am looking for a company that does fly ins/isolation camp as I am looking for the isolation camp experience.

Your best bet is probably one of the companies that does remote camps at Tolko in High Level, Alberta. Blue Collar or Summit. There's almost no "remote" stuff in the Interior of BC. They need to get logs to the mills, so it's all road-based in the southern, central, and northern Interior. The only reason that Tolko High Level has remote camps is because they winter log so much stuff in the muskeg.

I've worked with people who have good things to say about Northern, haven't heard anything good about Summit or Blue Collar.

Yes, any of my friends who have worked for Northern have had very positive experiences.
