Bella Coola and area
Bella Coola and area
I'm looking for any information on planting around Bella Coola and the Western Chilcotin but I'm struggling to find anything. What contractors have work in those areas?

Re: Bella Coola and area
Apex had a BCTS contract this past year out past Tatla Lake, but that was just an outlier couple of large blocks that were technically still part of the central Cariboo. This is a good question. I haven't worked in Bella Coola or Anaheim in more than 25 years. I wonder if someone else can answer. I remember Bill on one of my coastal crews mentioning that he had worked there fairly recently. My guess is that this would probably have been around 2015. I bet that Jordan might know.

Re: Bella Coola and area
I was in Bella Coola two weeks ago, and I saw a couple references to the community forest’s planting program. One article I read talked about planting 40k trees in a season, and it sounded like they hired locals directly.
Re: Bella Coola and area
Rainforest has had lots of work in the inlets around Bella Coola for the last decade or so, if that's what you're looking for.
