Tree planters invest in their clothing
By Working Forest Staff

Tree planting is about back-breaking work, bugs, bears and toxic chemicals. In an effort to curb the unacceptable number of injuries in the reforestation industry, contractors and crews are being targeted to reduce injuries while at the same time increase productivity.

José Luis Gutiérrez, a 15 year experienced forest tender thinks that another way to help is by having Silviculture specific work clothes; in 2004 he founded Motoca Specific Gear Inc. The company is the first to introduce the world to All Terrain All Weather Endurance Workware.

Motoca engineers pants, shirts, head-face protection and raingear with a combination of natural and technical materials that are durable, water & chemical repellent, quick drying, water-proof and waterproof-breathable.

Motoca Endurance Workware incorporates built-in protection and strategic features that are non-existing in the present safety standards of the Silviculture Industry to help planters make more money by having less down time.

Planters can finally invest in their work clothes.
