i see this name on quite a few ministry bid sheets this year. just wondering if anyone knows anything about these guys?

Not a lot of details available about Mihis on the internet. Family owned by Petru Viorel Mihis & Vasile Mihis & Vladut Ionuc Mihis as determined from their inclusion on the BC Forest Safe Certified list. They mostly bid for jobs involving brushing around the PG/Central BC area.

I got nosy and ended up finding this document:

It's dated August 1 2017, so it is possible some of it is out of date. If you scroll down to around page 8, there is a list of contacts for what looks like all of Gorman Bros and Downie's and some other licensee's contractors. i believe I saw mihis on there.
