Micro folding chair

Post by jdtesluk »

Here's a nice little luxury item that comes in a compact form.
$7.99 at Canadian Tire, but here's the ad from Wally's World. I usually shy away from anything seen on TV. Although, I do use my slapchop frequently for walnuts and dried bananas.
This little item is nice for having something dry and semi-comfortable to sit on during lunch or bag ups or whatever. I was actually surprised by how small it folded up, and how good of a seat it actually provides. That being said, if you backside is double-wide, you might need two and something to strap them together with. I think average folks would fare just fine though. I think I'll probably use it for more than the block myself.

the tri-folds are better. although that being said. just more shit in your kit to pack around. usually fall out in truck so you have to dig for them. also when sharing a cache, usually some douche sitting in your chair since they don't have one. f.ck off. don't bother bringing anymore. collapse a box and kneel on that. keep it simple. d attached to your planting bags, and one gear bag with everything. all you do is hold up other people wanting to work when you've got multiple pieces of crap everywhere.

Orrrrrrr.....don't be a dumbass, and be responsible for yourself and your gear.

The main point is that tri-folds are better? Okay, I've seen a few decent ones, but none have packed down to the size that this one does. Is it the stability or the comfort that you prefer? Have you tried both? Just curious.

I'm not a big fan of kneeling, and the folks I see using mini-seats seem to enjoy having something comfortable for the briefest moments of relieving the weight from their joints.

Having somewhere to sit down is amazing. I had a fishing backpack with the chair built into the bag which worked really well. This looks a lot better for versatility and pack weight
