I just noticed that they're in the midst of their annual conference, which is being held in Prince George this year.
This event looked like it would have a lot of discussion of interest to forestry students, etc. Here's a list of speaker's for this year's event:

I assume that maybe their conference is held in a different city each year, but I'm not certain.
