Hello!
My name is Paul, i am from Romania and i am using containers for producing spruce seedlings on a small scale (15000 pcs/year) for two years. The containers I am using are the Hiko 120 SS and the results are preety poor. The height of the seedlings was 7-8 cm after one year and 25-30 cm after year two. Maybe I am doing something wrong. There isn't much information about container seedling production in Romania because almost all of the seedlings produced here are bareroot. Ho you have any kind of books/manual in english about container seedlings production that it might help me?
Thank you!

Hi Paul:
The people in this forum are mostly involved only in the planting of the trees, and not the nursery production stages. There may be some people here with knowledge of your area of work, but most people here focus on the type of shovel they use to stick your trees in the ground.
Best of luck with your work.
Noroc!

Well, there is the Container Tree Nursery Manual, published by the US forest service. Could be a good place to start
