Ania & Justina. No, not sisters.

Jess.

Lots of pine seedlings.

The start of a nasty long walk into a roads and burns block that was several kilometers away.

Just in case.

Bagging up carefully.

Tara, doing seedling audits.

Jackie, planting up a storm.

Heather.

A rainbow at helicopter Staging at 5:30am.

Luke.

Good cache.

A log deck waiting to be picked up.

Everyone always seems to talk about "pine cones" when they think of coniferous cones. But there are fir cones, and spruce cones. This photos shows dry brown pine cones on the tree on the left (out of focus), but I tried to focus clearly on the bluish balsam fir cones on the tree in the background on the right.

Filling the tanker trailer with water, to water the trees in the shade tent.

Sunrise at 4:45am, again, at helicopter Staging.

Jamie, hooking up a sling of trees.

More log decks, on block ATH 071.

Andrew and Paddy's crews, loading trees into the trucks in the morning.

Justina.

Sabrina tried to hijack the helicopter.

Out of focus, but I had to keep it. This photo was taken in almost pitch dark, a time exposure, showing my video camera recording a time-lapse of the moon rising.

Nick's crew, bagging up.

Skidders don't get much more colourful than this.

Luke, getting the quad ready for the day.

Some of the trucks parked on one of the big blocks one day.

Kerry.

Tiffany. Nice tarping job, by the way.

Jamie, getting ready to unload a quad from the back of a pickup.

Some of Paddy's crew getting out of the helicopter.

Danny.

Tara.

Sunset at yet another helicopter staging area.
